A new enigma to solve

A possible predator without equal in India

The predators of India are too famous, tigers, leopards, bears, wolves, lions, cheetahs, etc., All of them are always the focus of attention when talking about the predators of the sub-continent, being dangerous and formidable animals, but among these famous ones, There is one that has raised suspicions since last year, one that is possibly a mysterious species, that does not seem to fit into any living genus, the Kaduva tiger.

Thank you for reading, I hope you support this and follow me, without further ado let's get started

The kaduva tiger mystery

The Kaduva tiger, proposed name Neelagiri Kaduva, is a mysterious species of animal, described in articles in June 2023, although it has been known since 2014.

This is described as an animal with the face of a Dog, with brown fur, with interspersed patterns of spots and stripes and the size of a tiger, In addition to having large ears and a fairly long tail, according to the articles in their description, their main prey are dogs, and generally, these are very shy of humans and remain hidden in the forests, coming down to human settlements near the forests very rarely, mainly to hunt dogs, unlike leopards, they do not normally attack humans, so their predisposition to small prey can be seen.

Doubts and more doubts

This species is controversial, it was described in 4 different scientific articles by the 103rd Indian Science Congress; held at the University of Mysore on 7 January 2016 and an updated paper at the 104th Indian Science Congress; held at SV University, Tirupathi in January 2017, although there are no photographs or solid evidence, in addition to the fact that the information is scarce.

The information is so scarce and so rare, the only thing known are the photos of supposed footprints of this creature, here I leave them:

Likewise, its own researchers have decided to declare that if it exists, it is either in critical danger or already extinct, since attempts have been made to find it without success, so ironically, the first possible large carnivore discovered in more than 30 years has disappeared, without us being able to know much more about it, its relationships and its parentage, Even so, there is a photo, an alleged puppy, possibly 5 months old, as big as a dog, killed in the Neyyar dam, in Kerala, we end this article with the photo, I do not deny or deny anything, it is up to you to judge, do you think it is possible that a carnivore like this could have existed? Or is it just a confusion, I leave you to your discretion:
